Deb’s career started in technology at MCI, a national telecommunications company where she was selected as one of six recruits out of six hundred applicants, and the only female to
participate in an executive training program. At MCI, Deb was awarded the esteemed Chairman’s Inner Circle 100 award for exceeding sales goals and was ranked in the top 1% of
sales professionals nationwide. As her career accelerated in various sales, marketing, and business development roles, she recalls advice received from one of her clients who said,
“everyone puts their pants on one leg at a time”. A reminder we are all the same.
Deb built strategic relationships with companies like Microsoft, Cisco and Homestore.com, and created innovative services and solutions, often first to the market. Throughout this time, real
estate tugged at her heart. Deb ventured into entrepreneurial life and the City of San Diego hired Deb to launch a marketing program to expand and bring business to downtown San Diego.
In 2002, Deb’s lifelong passion for real estate led her back to Colorado where she became a licensed real estate broker; Managing Partner of a general contracting company; and
Owner/Partner for a semi-custom residential builder/developer. She likes to claim that she was the “original Joanna Gaines” of home renovations. It was through her family that Deb learned the power of real estate, firsthand. Working alongside her father since the age of eleven, she learned the finer points of owning and renovating the family’s rental properties, and the power of
building wealth through real estate. One of her fondest memories is hearing about the success of their 20-year tenant whose rental income paid for her undergraduate education. Quite the memory since she was the first in her family to attend college.
With a focus on changing markets and a can-do attitude, Deb opened the doors and managed her boutique brokerage firms, most recently Park Properties Realty, for over two decades. Clients praised Deb for her commitment to exceptional service; keen marketing, business and negotiating acumen; and deep construction and development knowledge. They always felt that
Deb was an asset one needed on their side. Deb loves helping people and the long-term relationships that result. The moment of bringing someone face-to-face with their dreams, that is
the thrill!
But markets change and we must, too. In 2021, Deb identified an unmet need in real estate contracts. Buyer Browsing was occurring at the time of offer submission, and bias and
discrimination resulted. Deb launched Love This Buyer, LLC to educate, advocate, and inspire technology solutions to protect one’s digital privacy in contract negotiations.
With boots firmly planted on the ground, Deb witnessed the real estate market’s dramatic shift. “Consumers have a wealth of information available, and our job is to help them determine how
best to use that information”, comments Deb. With the volume of our knowledge doubling every twelve hours, it is challenging for someone to be a subject matter expert in all areas. With a commitment to delivering exceptional service, innovative solutions and maximize value; Deb knew she needed to expand her team and resources. In 2024, Deb joined the International Group at RE/MAX Professionals; the company sold 11% of the overall Greater Denver Metro Area market last year, and the International Group ranks as the ninth team in the company. The International Group aligns with Deb’s passion for diverse teams and neighborhoods; affordable housing; and focus on meeting the needs of the changing landscape. At RE/MAX Professionals, Deb services her clients’ residential, luxury, commercial, land development, new construction sales, leasing, and business brokerage needs. Deb leads the International Group’s development and construction sales.
Deb is a Certified Residential Specialist, an achievement appointed to the top 5% of brokers nationwide. She has been awarded the Five Star Real Estate Agent for the last ten consecutive years and was recognized as a Top-Rated Real Estate Agent with Xfinity on Demand. In 2017, Deb was awarded “Best Remodel” in Winona Lake, Indiana for her renovation of an old lake-side cottage. Deb is a graduate of the University of Illinois and Loyola University Chicago where she holds a B.A. and M.B.A, respectively. When not helping clients, you’ll find her on the
pickleball court, taking a spin on the dance floor or relaxing on the water.
